Soghomon Tehlirian, an Armenian who lost his mother during the Armenian Genocide. He is most famous for assassinating Talaat Pasha, the Grand Vizier of the Ottoman Empire who was the primary mastermind behind the Genocide, in broad daylight in 1921.
