Isamu Noguchi (1904-1988)

This is my history crush. Just look at him.
Not only was he gorgeous with those soulful eyes and that pout, he was a versatile, intelligent, daring, Japanese American artist who grew up a mixed race child of a single mother. Despite so many obstacles in his life, he enjoyed the successes any artist would wish for and is celebrated today. There is so much to say about this extremely gifted sculptor.
