Giacomo Matteotti, 22 May 1885 – 10 June 1924 Was a socialist MP when Mussolini became Prime Minister of Italy, and spoke out in parliament against fascism even though he knew it was dangerous. He was attacked and killed by Mussolini’s men a few days after his speech. Integrity and beauty together.
