i submitted something MONTHS ago and it still haven't appeared! why? :C

Not sure! There’s a chance it didn’t qualify; we get quite a few submissions of only an image with no telling of who the person is, and those usually get rejected on the spot unless one of the mods is able to fill in the gap. We at least need a name! Also, if the person was too current we usually reject them as well. While we let some slide occasionally, we want to try to keep the submissions to people prominent before the 60s. The other possibility is that it’s still in the queue, though the queue isn’t nearly as long as it used to be (HINT HINT FOLLOWERS YOU ARE FREE TO HELP US OUT~) so if it was submitted MONTHS ago I would assume it would be posted by now. And of course, there’s always tumblr’s glitching that could have eaten your submission right up. My suggestion is to re-submit your crush (assuming they meet the guidelines), or feel free to note me more information; perhaps I can track down the post or give you a more concise answer to what happened.

In the future, if any of you have any questions about your specific submission (or anything else, really), please note us non-anon so we can reply to you privately about it. We get a lot of messages and many anon messages go ignored because we don’t want to clutter up our blog! So if you’re looking for a proper response to something, non-anon is the way to go!
