This is Red Shirt. He’s an Oglala Lakota who lived from approximately the mid-19th to early 20th century. I first noticed Red Shirt when researching a paper on John Collier. I love his striking eyes; and I feel like, if he didn’t have to pose seriously, he would have a nice smile. Okay, thanks.
