Oscar Fingal O’Flahertie Wills Wilde (Oct. 16, 1854 - November 30, 1900) was an established poet and writer. He wrote many plays, including “An Ideal Husband,” “The Importance of Being Earnest,” and “Salome.” He also wrote the novel, The Picture of Dorian Gray.   Even though he left his wife and two sons for a younger man, he will forever be one of the greatest writers of all time.
