Sofonisba Anguissola (c.1532-1625) - Renaissance painter trained partly by Michelangelo, court painter and tutor to the Queen of Spain, and all round bamf who married twice, proposed to her second husband at the age of forty, and lived to be 92 while consistently flouting every rule of Renaissance ladylikeness (except the one about drawing nudes).
